Terrestrial animal

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Arthropods (such as flies) are the most abundant terrestrial animals by species count.
Terrestrial animals are animals that live predominantly or entirely on land (e.g., catsantssnails), as compared with aquatic animals, which live predominantly or entirely in the water (e.g., fishlobstersoctopuses), oramphibians, which rely on a combination of aquatic and terrestrial habitats (e.g., frogs, or crabs). Some terrestrial invertebrates include ants, flies, crickets, grasshoppers and snails.
